La agenda de miércoles y jueves, el 2 y 3 de marzo

¡Hola hola, clase!  You can do it!  ¡Sí se puede!  ¡Aquí está la presentación de hoy!

  • Calentamiento
    • Please put your binders underneath your desks!!
    • Each table gets ONE SHEET.
    • Please EDIT THE SENTENCES!!
    • PLEASE MAKE SURE I CAN SEE EVERYONE SWITCHING --

I will check for different handwriting, but will also listen to make sure one person is not blurting or showing answers to his/her teammates!
    • When you are finished, please yell “¡LISTOS!” (or “¡LISTAS!” if your table has only girls), so Ms. Williams will know to come over and check your answer!!
  • EXPECTATIONS FOR TEST-TAKING IN SPANISH CLASS:
    • Get ready for the quiz!!
    • I don’t want there to be any doubt that you did what you did ON YOUR OWN, the best you could.
    • SO, to make sure, HERE ARE MY EXPECTATIONS:
      • if you need to get up, PLEASE RAISE YOUR HAND FIRST.  Ms. Williams can come get your pencil; just raise your hand!!
      • if you have a question, please ask, QUIETLY.  The worst that can happen is Ms. Williams says “I can’t tell you that.”
      • Other than that, there is ABSOLUTELY NO TALKING.
      • YOU MAY ONLY GET UP WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED!
  • THE QUIZ
    • Please make sure you BUBBLE IN THE ANSWER on your WHITE SHEET for Part A!
      • Then, just like in Mr. Tell, Mr. Pahl, Ms. Benhardus, Ms. Davit, Ms. Olsen, & Ms. Albright’s classes, you can COME UP TO MS. WILLIAMS’ COMPUTER and find out HOW YOU DID!
      • The computer’s camera scans and grades your answers automatically -- so double check please!!
    • The TWO QUESTIONS Ms. Williams may ask you are:
      • ¿Cómo te llamas?  and
      • ¿Cómo estás tú?
    • What do they mean, again?
      • How do you answer them in Spanish?
  • If you notice there are still some things you're getting hung up on:
    • Please use your  Study Guide to help you study more this evening!!  (Page 1)
    • Please make sure you are double checking your answers with the Answer Key!
      • If you have any other questions, please be sure to ask Ms. Williams!
  • The new VOCABULARY
    • If you are FINISHED with your quiz, here are your priorities:
    • GET A  vocabulary sheet!
    • FILL IT IN with the English translation!!
    • think of the things you like to do (in English).
    • FLIP OVER YOUR VOCAB SHEET →
    • You’re going to write on the blank side!
    • figure out how to say “I like to (do those things) IN SPANISH!!
    • Please write 3-5 sentences that say “I like to ---.” and 1-2 sentences that say “I don’t like to ---.” IN SPANISH!  → Me gusta….. / No me gusta...
  • IF you finish up your SENTENCES: Please label each section or each word: What you already know (with a checkmark or :D!) What you remember but need to review (**) If you just need to work on SPELLING, you can write SP What you haven’t learned or don’t remember learning (use a ?? or other symbol) THEN, make sure you’re thinking about what you like to do!!!

La Tarea:  WEDNESDAY:  Study for the parts of the quiz you didn't understand -- be ready to finish the quiz tomorrow!!  Be sure to study tonight!   Look below or use the link above  for the answers to the study guide!!
