La agenda de jueves y viernes, el 26 y 27 de mayo

¡Hola hola, clase!  Here is our presentation that we used in class today!  (¡Usamos esta presentación hoy!)

  • Calentamiento
    • ¡Saquen ustedes sus cuadernos, un lápiz y sus SAMs!  ¡También las hojas de Personas Importantes!  
    • Please take out your sheets!
      • Check out the comments Ms. Williams made on any sheets you get back.
    • QUICK CHECK! Have you…
      • turned in Parts A & B?
      • finished and turned in Part C?
  • 1st floor COMPUTER LAB!
    • We’re going to the 3rd floor computer lab!
    • If you ARE DONE with parts A, B, and C, please SIT AT A COMPUTER and follow these directions when you get to the computer lab!
      • IF YOU ARE NOT DONE with parts A, B, and C, you will need to finish up!  Please sit at a desk area.
        • Ms. Williams will come around to help you out with any questions you have.
  • Be sure to:
    • 1. Go to GOOGLE CHROME - if you need to, go to the magnifying glass and search for “Chrome” to open it! 2. Then, please go to the address bar, and type in “http://tinyurl.com/librode”. 3. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SIGNED IN! Then, click “File” and “Make a Copy”!
    • 4. Then, delete “Copy of” and replace the _____line with YOUR Spanish name, instead! 5. Last, go to “Share” in the top right hand corner and share with Ms. Williams → catherinewilliams@mpls.k12.mn.us
  • DELETE Ms. WILLIAMS' TEXT!
    • Follow the instructions!!
      • You can use one of her suggestions for a title, or use your own.
      • On the BACK COVER, design your own cover -- or use some of the "Praise for" your book that Ms. Williams provided!
      • For each slide, TYPE UP the sentences about EACH PERSON!   So, take the PERSONA #1/#2/#3/#4 sentences from Parts A, B, and C (and D, if you did it) and TYPE THEM INTO THE SAME PART!
    • Then, when you're ready, you can insert/draw pictures.
      • If you want to use Storyboardthat.com, for your pictures, you can just use the ‘Snipping Tool’ (Command + Shift + 4) to choose what you want, and copy and paste it into your Google Slides!

    • Please take out your pencils, SAMs, notebooks, and your IMPORTANT PEOPLE sheets!
      • Please take out your PARTS A, B, C, and/or D, if you have them.
      • Then, get ready to FINISH Parts A, B, and C today!   
  • WE ARE GOING TO HAVE INDEPENDENT WORK TIME! 
    • Here are my expectations of you:
      • YOU NEED TO BE WORKING,  AT YOUR SEAT, NOT GETTING UP
      • NOT PLAYING WITH TOYS,  NOT HITTING EACH OTHER,  NOT THROWING THINGS; 
      • but instead getting out notes and RAISING HANDS for help.
  • CATCH UP! Catch on up!
      • ← Part A: Personality Traits! & Part B: Physical Appearance!  (This is OVER DUE!)
        • Turn these in to MS. WILLIAMS!
      • MIDDLE: Part C: Things You Like To Do!
        • Ms. Williams will come around to help you out with any questions you have.

    • Then, please LABEL the parts of the body, using the key on the front!
  • Notes on TENER
    • Just like we took notes on the verb ser, "to be", and how it changes (or its "conjugations") we took notes on tener today!
      • To talk about the number/kind of eyes/hair/etc. someone has, we use the verb TENER.
      • Tener means “to have” -- you need to change, or conjugate, the verb tener in order for it to mean “I have” or “He/She has”.
        • This is an important verb to know for our Mini-Book project!

          • RED HAIR:  Yo SOY pelirroja/o. 
      • 2. ¿Qué colores de ojos tienes tú?  → What color EYES do you have?

          • MS. WILLIAMS's example:  Yo tengo ojos azules.
          • OR Yo tengo ojos azul claro.
      • 3. ¿Qué tipo de pelo tiene Señorita Williams?

      • 4. ¿Qué colores de ojos tiene Señorita Williams?

  • WRITE YOUR SENTENCES!!
    • For each of your 4 people (and yourself), answer the questions:

    • Please DESCRIBE the people who are important to you!
      • Don’t forget to include a description of each person’s:
      • eyes - hair - HEIGHT!!
    • To say:   He is tall. → Él es alto. He is short. → Él es bajo.
      • She is tall.  → Ella es alta. She is short.  → Ella es baja.
      • They are tall. → Ellos son altos.   They are short. → Ellos son bajos.
      • sort of tall → bastante alto  medium height → de media altura
    • EXAMPLE: Mi papá
      • 1. Mi papá tiene ojos azul claro, como los míos. → My dad has light blue eyes, like mine. 2. Él tiene pelo canoso. → He has gray hair. 3. Mi papá es muy alto. → He is very tall.
